Need a new car for around $4000!

So since I got hit in my Acura CL, i got money from that accident. My auto insurance gave me $4000 for the car and now I'm on the search for a new one. The cool thing is i got $400 more than what i paid for the car! Well anyways, This is the car I've been looking at recently. Its a 97 Toyota celica convertible. I was just wondering if you guys had another car in mind for the same price? I really like coupes, they're fun to drive and look sick. But if you don't, i don't mind your two cents on the topic. Maybe share your car buying experiences.

    I'd go with that one if its in your price range/you want it. Just make sure theres nothin wrong with it

    Are you planning on doing anything with the car such as performance upgrades or anything like that? Or are you just looking for just transportation?

    You will have to, of course, paint some flames on the vehicle at some point, just keep that in mind.

    Toyota's are awesome. Be sure to do the required interval oil changes and the thing will last for ever. I've got a corolla and crashed the thing like 3 times, but always made sure the little things like oil/plugs/coolant/air where good and it's running the same as the day i bought it.
