Desk Pets Tankbot


The Desk Pets Tankbot is one of Desk Pet's little desk toys and definitely the coolest. The tank bot is a toy that you can play with on your desk obviously. It has 3 modes autonomous- where it moves around randomly, Maze solving- self explanatory, and iOS- where you can control it via your iPhone or iPod touch. They have two LED eyes and two infrared transmitters to detect obstacles in autonomous and maze solving mode. They're rechargeable with 15 minutes of play time per 30 minute charge.     Oh my god, iPod connectivity almost sold it for me. Those look so cool. However the price and battery life kinda made me think again. I'm glad it's not out now otherwise I'd be tempted.
