So I've been thinking of doing a little Yahoo Web Hosting. Not sure what I'm going to put on there but I'd like one to have something to mess around with. First I'm going to need a domain name yahoo will accept. I also have no idea what to name that. I really want to have a home business and maybe this web site will let me dip my feet in the water. Well anyways I would recommend yahoo for all your web hosting needs. I realize there isn't much here. Just me rambling. What are your guy's thoughts on things of this sort?
i think it's a good idea as long as your domain/website has an original thought that will attract a lot of people
ReplyDeleteYou reminded me that geocities used to exist. I miss geocities. I always wanted to start a home business, but the start up is always so intimidating...but hey, we all have to make risks I guess....
ReplyDeleteyahoo is a pretty good host i'll admit
ReplyDeleteHmm this seems like a good idea. Why is yahoo better than other services though?
ReplyDeleteits tough cause everyone takes all the good domains and then you have to add dumb words to make it unique to a point where you dont even like the idea anymore lol
ReplyDeleteI really have no thoughts but I wish you the best.
ReplyDeletei dont care ur a fag
ReplyDeleteIf I were you, I'd sort out the business side of things before the website side of things... best of luck all the same!
ReplyDeleteDon't doooo it!
ReplyDeletebigunicorn.blogspot.com
I hate coming up with domain names, there's so many things you can choose.
ReplyDeleteI would recommend, whachootalkinboutwillis.com, kind of catchy.
ReplyDeletemake it short and sweet. nobody wants to type in a long adress
ReplyDeleteShop around a bit, different registrars charge differently.
ReplyDeleteYahoo is a nice host..i used to love geocities.
ReplyDeleteyour blog name is pretty super awesome. :D
ReplyDeletei was thinking about getting myself a .com as well.
ReplyDeletetip: you can get a .com from blogspot itself. it's in the options somewhere. you can get a site that is linked to blogspot, but instead it will have .com instead of .blogspot.com
by the way, awesome blog. following. get back at me
How awesome. This awesome.
ReplyDeleteI want a domain name too once my blog gets bigger, good luck man!
ReplyDeleteIf I follow you on here will it switch over?
thats weird, thought yahoo stopped hosting? or was the geocity, oh i remember my geocity cite. hahhaa back in the old days.
ReplyDeletego for it
ReplyDeletenice idea
ReplyDeletejust bought a domain for my blog from go daddy, if your lookin for one for your blog, google has a service through blogger that uses godaddy for 10 bucks
ReplyDeleteNot sure, but definitely worth having a crack at a home business!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you just need to get brainstorming!
ReplyDeleteYahoo is a good host but there are many others that are better. Also, if you're planning on jumping in feet first, you'll need to do a little planning.
ReplyDeleteGood luck man.
ReplyDeleteyea yahoo is a good host, good luck!
ReplyDeleteWho knows if it works oout you could be rollin in guap
ReplyDeleteI gave up on yahoo a long time ago
ReplyDeletei think its fine, they have cheap prices
ReplyDeletenot go to GO DADDY since their CEO is retarded
ReplyDeleteI don't really like yahoo, but it does have a reputation of being a good host
ReplyDeletei recommend it, good host.
ReplyDeleteHow much is it i might do it too with a friend
ReplyDeleteMan i do all my own hosting from my other computer.
ReplyDeleteYahoo's pretty good imo. Coming up with names for a domain is pretty hard, tho.
ReplyDeletefor a trial at getting your feet wet, why not try google sites? its free, and if it goes well you can switch over to a private domain.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried it out, it sounds pretty easy though. Best thing about it of course, no startup fee.
ReplyDeleteyeah good host :P
ReplyDeletenah idk bro
haha but I was thinking of doing something similar to start off
good luck on your questt
